General information
Its name translated from Mayan means “Cenote del Gato”, it is of a closed type and is located in the locality of Sotuta to the south of the city of Mérida, known for its rich history and its Mayan cultural heritage. Its landscapes include jungles, urban art and cenotes that attract visitors in search of adventure and authentic experiences.
It is important to mention that the entrance to the cenote is through the façade of a private property, so access may be limited and the cost of entry may vary.
When descending there is a narrow staircase that transports you to a new world, you can immediately observe the incredible formations of stalactites, stalagmites, columns and < strong>impressive crystal clear water that has a depth of 30 cm to 2 m, excellent for a good time with the family.
Regarding the basic services offered, they have bathrooms and shower.
