Karen Peralta

Applied Chemistry

Graduate in Applied Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Yucatán. I am currently studying the
Master's Degree in Marine Sciences and Limnology from UNAM. I am doing research
on organic contaminants in water samples at the Environmental Sciences Laboratory
Coastal of the FQ-UNAM in the Sisal Academic Unit.
As part of the experimental work of my master's thesis I collaborate in the project “Ts'onot:
co-participatory care of Yucatan cenotes through community quality monitoring
of water”, analyzing pesticides, hydrocarbons and emerging contaminants.
