Alberto has a bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communication from UNAM; He specialized in scientific and natural history illustration since 2002. His works have been published in more than 60 books by various publishing houses.

Since the beginning of BDMY, he has collaborated as an illustrator and designer of many graphic products that have contributed to the image of BDMY; creator of many scientific, didactic, dissemination illustrations, infographics and designs; He continues to work together with all the scientists who need to translate his research into a visual format, intelligible to many types of audiences, from children and specialists.

In addition, he works on other projects for the UNAM Faculty of Sciences, CENOTEANDO, CICY, CONABIO and on private projects related to natural history.
